Ajman University Sponsors American International School’s University Fair

The American International School held its University Fair sponsored by Ajman University of Science and Technology. The Fair, an annual event that acquaints senior school students with different universities and undergraduate programs in the UAE, enables student ownership and promotes international educational awareness.

Prof. Ahmed Ankit, Assistant to AUST President for External Relations and Cultural Affairs, attended the event which housed presenters from thirty universities showcasing their educational and career development programs, and was attended by more than 1200 senior students from different schools.   

Dr. Ken Imperato, AIS Deputy Principal and Prof. Ankit inaugurated the Fair in a ribbon cutting ceremony. In his opening speech addressing students and participants, Dr. Imperato thanked the universities, educational institutes, and third party providers for making the event a success. Dr. Imperato, as well, commended AIS and AUST organizing teams for their diligence and hard work, hoping this Fair would open the way for future events intending to leverage international education.

Prof. Ankit, expressing gratitude to AIS and the organizing teams, indicated how fortunate students present at the Fair are first, for being residents of UAE, which is a cultural melting pot for 206 nationalities, second for attending an American School and acquiring the American values of free thought, personal initiative, and creativity, and for the school’s amicable environment. He as well encouraged students to contact AUST and visit its website to explore different specializations, and advised them to window browse options and university requirements in the UAE.
