Ajman University Honored by Daman National Health Insurance Company

Ajman University of Science and Technology received recently a delegation from Daman National Health Insurance Company headed by Dr. Sven Rohti, Daman’s Chief Commercial Officer. The delegation was welcomed on the part of the University by Mr. Osama Salman, AUST Vice President; Mr. Mohammed Abu Naser, Human Resources Manager; and a number of senior officers and staff from different AUST departments.

Dr. Rohti said that this visit comes to pay tribute to Ajman University as one of Daman’s leading clients in the Northern Emirates and reinforce the ties of cooperation and partnership between both institutions with a view to fostering health awareness among the community. 

Mr. Salman, in turn, commended the excellent reputation established by Daman as a pioneer health insurance provider in the UAE and the region, thanks to the company’s high-quality services that serve the best interest of patients in the first place.

The two parties agreed to promote joint research cooperation in this area by availing of AUST’s proven academic research capabilities and Daman’s extensive health-related data.

The visit wound up by exchanging memento shields and both sides confirming their mutual willingness to continue this constructive and fruitful relationship aimed at maintaining a healthy, safe and conducive working environment in the University.
